Singles, and looking!

July 15th, 2008

Considering you’ve read the first post you’ve probably figured that we’re recruiting a team of administrators, dedicated writers and publicity campaign holders. We don’t have that much of requirements, but rather that specific. So here’s what we’re looking for so far…

Invision Power Board Administrator:

  • Overall knowledge of the platform, preferably with experience in PHP for further hardcore board modifications.
  • Fair knowledge in English.
  • Dedication as a long-term team member.

Writers
We’re looking for writers who are essentially enthusiastic about cars and concepts, the writer MUST meet the following terms…

  • Passion, real passion about cars, to an extent that you’d get confused if you’re offered to sell your soul for a Zonda! Well, just a figure of speech, you already know what I mean.
  • Constant followup with the latest and greatest in the world of cars, which includes manufactures, models, concepts, specific editions, etc…
  • A fair knowledge in history of cars, how it all began, how far it’s come, and preferably a vision ahead to what cars could look like in the future. Vision IS important, but not necessary.
  • If possible, excellent read / write in Arabic and English. If not, well, you have to be really good at least.
  • A will to review what’s new in cars.
  • A will to provide readers further information or rather help in whatever relates to your writing specialties.
  • Dedication as a long-term team member, also meaning that you will pledge more time for content.

Propagandists!
3arabetak wants you! Now that is something you could have fun with…

  • Contacts sharing the interest in cars or whatever relates to cars.
  • Someone who’d spread the word to everyone, distribute flayers or manage to hang some 3arabetak posters in events.
  • Someone who’d put a 3arabetak sticker on their car, distribute some to friends and family members, or even help us make them in a fair price.

Sponsorship
We’d appreciate sponsors who are willing to make us more heard of, or merely provide financial support.

Donations
We could use a lot of financial support for advertising.

That’s all, folks! If you think you qualify to any of these bullets, or have an idea you want to share, please submit them by contacting us.

Much thanks, and Drive Safe.

Intro & Details

July 15th, 2008

So the website is all about cars, we’ll be providing extensive information and reviews about cars that you might be thinking of buying, exchanging, renting, selling, discussing or even rating. We want to make this social so we’ll be adding message boards as well as a detailed driver profile were the user would be able to post an image gallery of his cars followed by a list of non-stock parts added to the vehicle. This, as been thought of, would encourage members and visitors as well to improve their cars, and show off to the world.

I (Kareem), is basically responsible of designing the website, administrating and holding publicity campaigns for it as well. Yahya is handling the technical aspects of the website, such as coding, database administration, as well as help advertising for the website. Our friend, Salah has also joined the fold as an author, since he’s one big car enthusiast, he’s responsible of providing you good information about whatever is related to cars, as well as support and technical inquiries. Muhammed Younes is a friend of Yahya’s who’s recently joined us as a forum moderator. We are still looking for an Invision Power Board administrator to handle, literally the entire forum. And we could use a lot of help from people involved in car sales and rentals, or even car-related events, for publicity.

In fact, we’d welcome any kind of help, even suggestions! We’re way closer to launching now, but there’s still more to cross. If you’re anything interested in 3arabetak and wanna give a hand, you could  send an email at kareem [at] 3arabetak dot com. Additionally, the least help you could offer is by joining us at 3arabetak’s Facebook Page, and if you feel like it, invite your friends along. Anyway, following this post is a detailed post with our current requirements and status as well.
